Process & Instrumentation

Process and instrumentation devices monitor and maintain processes and equipment.

Automated process control achieves consistency, efficiency and safety in industrial process. A variety of equipment contributes to effective production. This equipment includes dedicated controllers, regulators, transducers, transformers, meters and gauges.

Process controllers measure a process variable and make adjustments to keep that variable within a set range or at a desired setpoint. Drum heaters and heat tracing are used to maintain or adjust the temperature of pipes or vessels. Regulators are devices that maintain a designated characteristic. They can be be designed to maintain just about variable required. Panel meters and gauges take and display measurements.

Using process equipment, process control systems and can from controlling the pressure in one vessel to managing entire processing plants.
